Gigapocalypse launch trailer
Gigapocalypse was released on consoles, and a new trailer has arrived to celebrate. The title finally launched this week after a two-month delay.
As a little kid, picking up your dragon toys, breathing fire, feeling powerful, and destroying everything is one of the fondest childhood memories for many of us.
Now you become this giant monster in Gigapocalypse, a 2D pixel art destruction game, inspired by classic Kaijū movies such as “Godzilla” and “King Kong” and the classic game “Rampage”.
Gigapocalypse offers a selection of different “Gigas” from the prehistoric era, unexplored outer space and forgotten history. Each with unique skills, mutations, and many skins that can be unlocked with higher levels.
Start your destruction spree and smash everything in your way through different beautifully detailed pixel style locations. Have you ever wondered what it looks like when a giant monster destroys a town in the Wild West? Or face the brave Templars? Gigapocalypse has the answer. But beware: evil soldiers, wizards, drones and mechs will do anything to stop you! With each try, your Giga will become more powerful until you finally reach the epic and diverse boss fights that await you at the end of each level.
Complete quests, care for your Giga in Tamagotchi-style mini-games, find secrets to upgrade your Giga and its “home”, and unlock cute but deadly pets that accompany you on your journeys.
Gigapocalypse is loud, punk, metal, anarchy, and a beautiful homage to gaming and movie classics. It’s a game for the kid in all of us.
