Hogwarts Legacy Reveals New Cutscene Featuring Hippogryph Encounter
Harry Potter fans were eagerly waiting Hogwarts Legacy for years and the wait is coming to an end. Whereas Hogwarts Legacy is without a release date as of this writing, it is still slated to launch at some point later this year. Detailed gameplay videos and impressive trailers have been shown for the game, so all that remains is to announce the release date.
Whereas Harry Potter fans are waiting to learn the Hogwarts Legacy release date, they might want to take a look at a cutscene of the game that was shown during the Autodesk Vision series. This cutscene is rather brief, but it shows an interesting story development that will apparently occur during the game. In it, the player character and another Hogwarts student witness a trio of wizards bombarding a hippogryph with spells. It turns out that the Hogwarts Legacy the player character knows about the Hippogriff and wants to save it.
The Hogwarts Legacy The player character attempts to follow their classmate through a pair of massive doors, but is locked. They then decide to find another path, with the camera moving to show a potential way forward. It’s a relatively brief cutscene, but it seems to indicate that the Hogwarts Legacy The player character will have important relationships with the magical beasts they encounter throughout the game’s story.
For those who may not quite know Harry Potter tradition, a hippogriff is basically a combination of an oversized eagle and a horse. A hippogriff named Buckbeak plays a key role in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkabanand there appears the hippogriff in Hogwarts Legacy will also play an important role in the story. However, fans will have to play the game themselves to be sure.
Again, the Hogwarts Legacy the release date is currently unknown. However, an Amazon leak suggested that the Hogwarts Legacy the release date will be early December. This remains to be verified, but such a release date would make sense. This would ensure that Hogwarts Legacy came out just in time for the holiday shopping season, plus it would put some distance between the game and other heavy hitters launching at the end of the year, like God of War Ragnarok and Pokemon scarlet and violet.
Hogwarts Legacy has one big advantage over these games though, and that is the fact that it is a cross-platform title. Hogwarts Legacy is coming to Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and PC, so Harry Potter fans will be able to check it out regardless of their platform of choice.
